Whiteboard Institute ("we", "us", "our") provides a personalized K-12 homeschool curriculum platform for families around the world. This policy explains what personal information we collect from parents and children, why we collect it, and how it's protected.
We collect the information a parent provides when creating an account and adding a child profile, including:
Information is used to build each child's personalized curriculum, match them with a suitable instructor, track progress, issue certificates, communicate with parents about their account, and improve the platform. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Whiteboard Institute is a service for families, and every child profile is created and managed by a verified parent account — children do not register directly. We limit the data collected from children to what's needed to personalize their learning experience, and it is never used for advertising.
We share information only with the service providers that make the platform work — such as our hosting provider, video-session provider, and payment processor — under agreements that require them to protect it. We may disclose information if required by law.
Account access is protected by authentication and role-based permissions, and data is encrypted in transit. We restrict internal access to student data to the parent, the child's assigned instructor, and platform administrators.
Parents can review, correct, or request deletion of their family's data at any time by contacting us. Deleting a parent account removes the associated child profiles and their data from active use.
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top of the page.
